Lilas is a french photographer who lives in Paris.
The sun of her native island, Guadeloupe, gave her very early the taste for contrast, playing with lights and shadows, which allowed her to transcribe the material. From then on, she chose the path of photography. Still life naturally became her favorite field as she discovered and perfected the art of studio photography and the beauty of staging. Sensitive to the geometry of what surrounds her, she continues her work on textures and colors in compositions that are both soft and often very graphic.
She's evolving as a freelancer from her studio in the 11th arrondissement in Paris.
« Le photographe compose par intuition, guidé par sa sensibilité. L’image qu’il compose est une géométrie modulée par le cœur. » - Willy Ronis
